Concert in Brass on Father’s day

On Sunday, June 15th, Tyldesley Band under the baton of Rob Taylor will be performing the last Brass Band concert of the current season at Formby Hall, Atherton.

This popular Banding venue continues to feature its long running concert series on Father’s Day with a programme with something for everybody. Experienced conductor Rob is no stranger when it comes to choosing numbers popular with Band listeners whether it is from films or has been along with marches, overtures and hymns from around the World. Tyldesley Band has been doing this since 1877 although Rob doesn’t make the same claim.

The next two weeks in Milk Street, Tyldesley will be frenetic as the Band rehearses for the concert, and as always, its audience will be well and truly musically entertained – be sure to be there and do remember – bring Dad!

Doors open at 7-00pm. Concert starts at 7-30pm.

Children – free

Pay at the door.

The new concert season begins on September 21st when Vernon Building Society Poynton Band feature.
